Bonus: it saves a ton of money, especially in the summer when berries are on sale. These frozen chocolate-covered berries are the perfect treat for hot days, after-school snacks, or sweet bites straight from the freezer. The Tru Fru Raspberry is my favorite!

Store-bought Tru Fru is delicious but pricey — and it disappears fast! This homemade version uses just a few ingredients and comes together quickly. It’s a fun project to do with kids and makes a great addition to summer parties, holiday platters, or weeknight treats. You’ll get the same creamy, fruity, chocolatey experience — for a fraction of the cost.

Steps to Make Copycat Tru Fru
- Step 1: Wash and prep the berries, then pat them completely dry.
- Step 2: Melt white chocolate with coconut oil and dip berries to coat.
- Step 3: Chill until set, then dip again in melted milk chocolate.

- Step 4: Freeze until firm and store in an airtight container.
