Olga’s Snackers Copycat Recipe
If you love the warm, crispy snackers from Olga’s Kitchen, this homemade copycat Olga’s snackers recipe shows you exactly how to make them at home. Whether you’re using Olga bread, homemade flatbread, or naan, these snackers are simple, fast, and a huge hit as an after-school snack, appetizer, or side with dinner. These Homemade Copycat Snackers are soft, chewy, and topped with a savory seasoning blend, just like the ones you remember.

Growing up, my mom took me to Olga’s Kitchen weekly when we went shopping at Westland Mall. It was our special tradition, and I always ordered their Broccoli Cheese Soup, famous Greek Salad, and, of course, an order of Snackers. These warm, slightly crunchy bites bring back so many memories, and now you can make them at home, like your own homemade copycat snackers!
First, you must create the Copycat Olga's Bread Recipe. Here is my Homemade Bread Recipe. You can use Naan bread as well, it will just taste slightly different, missing that sweeter taste.

How to Make Snackers with Homemade or Store-Bought Flatbread
Making these snackers is quick and easy! Follow these detailed steps to ensure perfect results every time.

- Step 1: Prepare the Flatbread: Start by making a batch of my homemade flatbread to use for your homemade copycat snackers. Let it cool slightly before cutting. (or skip if using store bought)

- Step 2: Cut and Toast: Slice the flatbread into bite-sized pieces and lightly toast them in a skillet with a thin layer of oil.

- Step 3: Season the Snackers: Sprinkle with McCormick's Perfect Pinch Salad Supreme Seasoning

- Step 4: Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm and serve with butter or a soft cheese.
Hint: For restaurant-style crispiness, make sure your oil is hot before adding the bread. The snackers should sizzle immediately when they hit the pan. Flip after 30–60 seconds, once golden, and remove promptly to prevent over-browning.

This recipe is NOTHING like Olga's Snackers! So disappointing. This is good flatbread, but it is thick and soft, not at all crunchie or thin like Snackers. 🙁

Thanks so much for sharing your honest thoughts, I really appreciate it! 💛 I hear you that this version isn’t as thin, crunchy snackers you remember. My recipe is inspired by the classic sweeter flavor of Olga’s bread and Snackers, but it does tend to have a soft, flatbread-style base and depending on the quick frying method used, it can be softer. I would try rolling it a bit thinner next time and making sure the oil is super hot before throwing the pieces in to fry to give that crunchy exterior and soft interior.
Totally get how texture expectations can change the experience, and I’m glad you still found it to be good flatbread. Your feedback helps future readers know what to expect, and I’m grateful for you and the time you took to leave this feedback. 🙏

i have made this twice and think it is a great copycat version . maybe roller thinner next time and reheating is the airfryer is perfect for crisping them up if that is your preference.
