I don’t know about you, but our spring schedule is as crazy as the fall! So here’s your reminder, add this simple meal to your weeknight meal planning! (You better be meal planning!) 😘
This recipe is the perfect solution for a busy weeknight meal that’s ready in just 30 minutes and only requires one pot!
One Pan Chicken, Rice, and Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups Long Grain White Rice Rinsed
- 2 ¾ cups chicken Broth
- 8 ounces Frozen Green Beans
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 10 grape tomatoes diced optional
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and flour.
- In a large skillet or pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- Stir in the rice, add the chicken broth and then add the green beans to one side. Bring to a low simmer.
- Place the browned chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is fully done.
- Once the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender, remove the skillet from heat. Allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Enjoy your hearty and comforting one-pot meal! 🥘
