Homemade Shamrock Shake

A creamy, minty, and festive homemade Shamrock Shake you can make in just minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup milk adjust for desired thickness
  • 4 drops green food coloring may need up to 6 drop
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping
  • Green sprinkles optional, for garnish
  • maraschino cherry optional, for garnish

Equipment

  • blender
  • measuring spoons
  • ice cream scooper
  • tall glass

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, ½ cup of milk, green food coloring, and peppermint extract.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding more milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Pour into a tall glass.
  4. Top with whipped cream, green sprinkles, and a cherry if desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
