Equipment

  • Mixer
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Measuring cups
  • measuring spoons
  • Fry Pan
  • Metal Spatula

Ingredients

  • ½ cup warm water
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ½ cup honey ? you can even add more to make it a little sweeter.
  • ¼ cup butter ? melted
  • 2 teaspoon heaping teaspoons Instant Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 cups (4 - 4 ½ cups all-purpose flour)
  • 1 egg ?

Instructions

  • Mix warm water, sugar, and instant yeast in a bowl. Let it chill together for 5-10 minutes—let the yeast do its bubbly thing! ?
  • Warm up that milk for 90 seconds.
  • Stir in the butter, honey, and salt to the warm milk. It’ll smell like heaven already!
  • Once the milk mixture cools down a bit, pour it into the yeast mixture and crack in that egg. Time to mix!
  • Add 1½ cups of flour and get your mixer going—let’s make some magic happen. ✨
  • Toss in another cup of flour and mix again. It’s getting doughy!
  • Add the last cup or so of flour and give it one last mix—BOOM, dough!
  • Cover that dough baby and let it nap for 45 minutes to an hour.
  • Now, divide the dough into 12-16 equal parts. Roll ‘em into little dough balls, one at a time, while covering the rest so they don’t dry out.
  • Preheat a pan—NO oil needed—and cook each dough ball for 20-30 seconds on each side until they’re golden and perfect. Flip ‘em like a pancake pro! ?
  • **ENJOY!** You just made delicious, homemade flatbread—time to celebrate with some butter, hummus, sandwich, or whatever your heart desires. ??
