Cilantro Lime Cabbage Slaw (No Mayo)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 10-ounce bag angel hair coleslaw shredded cabbage
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • red onion finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Add the shredded cabbage, chopped cilantro, and finely diced red onion to a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, honey, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  4. For best flavor, let the slaw rest for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • This slaw is best after resting but can be served immediately if needed.
  • Finely dicing the red onion helps prevent overpowering bites.
